The Weather Station Arrives

First look at the weather center display !!!!! ha ha Double click on the image to get a clearer view. Note the rather high amount of rainfall was caused by my pouring water into the collector to see if it was working.......hm.

Intro

Well I have just recieved my very first weather station, thank you Red Onions for swift delivery and phone bacup. Well this is an irox Pro x2 job and it all looks rather efficient and easy to set up but its going to be a while before I get the instruments into position and myself up and running.
My inspiration came from the BBC program "What is one degree" brilliant stuff, however it pointed me to the met office web site and their soon to be operational web of urban home weather stations.......sounds like something interesting I thought to myself, and would give me an edge !!!!!! ha ha when I start up the telescope ...... and thats another story yet to unfold. I am a novice at it all, but for me its Play Time Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee
In the meantime .... here are some skiescapes from loft facing East and when I have cracked this weather station thing I will be back.........
